What is IVF or ART software?

How is IVF software different from a normal hospital management system?

Without specimen identity you cannot witness a transfer, prove a chain of custody, or trace a child back to the gametes it came from. Does it handle IVF, ICSI, IUI, FET and donor cycles?

Yes. Each cycle type carries its own workflow and its own stage steps, so an IUI cycle never exposes embryo-transfer fields and a frozen transfer starts from the thaw rather than from stimulation. Donor and fertility-preservation cycles are first-class cycle types with their own screening and consent requirements.

How does electronic witnessing work?

At every identity-critical step — denudation, fertilisation, embryo transfer and any cryo movement — the system records a witness event with the authenticated identity of a second person, the time, and what was witnessed. The witness cannot be the operator, and the record cannot be edited or deleted afterwards. That is what makes it evidence rather than a name typed into a box.

Can it produce a National ART Registry export?

Yes. Kōami Fertility produces a cycle-level registry extract, and the export itself is logged — who ran it, for what period, and what was included — so the submission is provable months later. Consent, screening and outcome data are recorded in the structured form the registry expects rather than reconstructed at deadline.

Does it integrate with the rest of the hospital system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Kōami Fertility shares identity, billing, pharmacy, inventory and imaging with the rest of the Kōami suite, so an IVF cycle bills through the same revenue cycle as any other episode, drugs come off the same stock, and scans sit in the same PACS. Fertility centres running standalone can also deploy it on its own.
